Your code stays local

Your Projects and Spaces are git worktrees on your own disk. Astra works with them right there on your machine, the way your editor does.

We're not in the middle of your agents

When an agent runs, your prompts and code go straight from your Mac to Claude and Codex, signed into your own accounts — the same path you'd get running those tools yourself. What those providers do with that data is covered by your own agreement with them.

We don't collect your code or conversations

Your conversations, code, and files aren't collected or stored by Astra. We don't read them, and we don't train on your work.

Diagnostics are anonymous

To keep Astra stable and understand which features matter, the app sends two kinds of diagnostics:

• Crash reports — stack traces when something breaks.
• Usage analytics — anonymous events like app opens and which features get used.

Both are stripped of personal and identifying information — file paths, usernames, and email are removed — and never include your prompts, code, or conversation content.

05.

The waitlist

If you join the waitlist, we keep the name and email you give us — through our email provider, Loops — so we can tell you when Astra is ready. We don't sell or share it.
